I can't thank you enough for this tutorial. I just rescued a very large cattleya from a driveway, lying in the blazing sun, rotted out of the pot. It's big. I am more into vandas so I didn't know where to start. I'm going to suck it up and divide it. The owner said it was his mothers, so there is sentimental attachment. I promised I would make it happier than it looked. I thought I had "orchid confidence" but this one made me shakey. lol Fingers crossed.

Thank you for the advice! I finally got brave enough to attempt re-potting, then wondered if I could divide some of them, and yes I can :-) I have the same fuschia/yellow orchid in the background!

THANK YOU SOOOOO MUCH for this information...I moved from Florida to Virginia Beach recently and need to repot many of the orchids that I brought with me. I have had to keep them around the rim of my jetted bathtub, since it is too cold here to keep them outside. I got so much good information from you, and look forward to repotting my orchids soon, AND to hoping that they will enjoy living in VA Beach in summer. I will continue to follow your good videos.

I really enjoyed your video and learned a lot about dividing Catteleyas which I have been a bit scared to attempt. And I also enjoyed seeing all your orchids so full of blooms. Thanks
