Its called Shado Beni were i live and it grows natural in central/south america and Caribbean ,its perfectly convenient its all over just to go out side an pick some leaves..

This is a great herb. We first encountered this served on the side with pho soup in Vietnam and wondered what exactly it was. When they serve it there, they trim off the spiky leaf edges first. When we got back to Australia I managed to find it in a bunnings nursery and now have a healthy (although small) perennial coriander growing on my balcony, ready for home made pho anytime!
