Where do you get your garlic from?

I will be growing garlic for the first time. I am in Tennessee, so I am going to have to look up recommended planting times! I ordered my garlic yesterday! Great video! and I just love the Louisiana accent! :)

I love that Louisiana red clay!

Happy New Year Donald. I absolutely love your video's. It made me very happy to see a new one. Thanks for the instruction. God Bless!

Great land you have there. Garlic is easier than onions I think. I grow a lot here. That looks like it will grow really well. Check out my channel as soon I will be posting a video on making a proper Provencal Mayonnaise from nothing but eggs and olive oil. But - add garlic and you have a Aioli. Its the king of sauce for cod and I think with all that garlic you need a few French cooking tips to make the most of it :-) Jonathan (I was subsonic41grain but moved to France hence my new channel!)

I'm looking forward to seeing the results. Best to you Donald to you and your family during the Thanksgiving holiday.

I try to plant enough for the family, friends and to have some left over just in case…..Donald -
Donald you grow everything on a huge scale. It never ceases to impress me how well it grows for you. :)

I love seeing our young people learning how to grow their own food and at the least knowing where it comes from! God Bless you and yours. Nia, Hampton, VA

Great Video Donald....you are going to like the results from the garlic....Its one of the things I like to see growing in the winter....kind of keeps my gardening spirit up seeing some green out back....Thanks for sharing....I hope all is well with you guys....Tim

I heard from someone that if you tie the garlic fronds into a knot when they get tall enough that most of the energy goes to growing the bulbs larger and slows the garlic flowering down. I don't know if its true, but I'm willing to try it next year.

Thanks for the kind words….Donald

Hope I get a taste next summer….Donald

I meant insects. But keep your goats out of the garden if you can. Good luck.

Very nice! I've been thinking about trying some different types of garlic. Trying my hand this winter at growing a few things under a short hoop frame on two of my raised beds, no heat. So far so good. Good to have a willing helper too, nice job!

My goats love the stuff:-) My wife says there aint much difference between me and them. I think she is insulting my goats.

I don't think anything eats garlic but us. They are easy to grow and easy enough to plant.
