vue - Planting Store Bought Ginger

1. Thank you for the video! It was really well explained and Im gonna go and plant my ginger now, cuz I accidentally left it on the frigde and it started to sprout :) Just one question - how often do I have to water it?
2. I planted my store bought ginger a month ago. I'm looking forward to the sprouting. Isn't there a domestic variety of ginger which grows in your region?

5. Im right on the bay in northern ontario in canada and grow this.
   nobody in the northern "states" will have an issue with this in doors.

8. I almost threw away my v ginger that I had sitting in a dark corner than I too placed on top of microwave when I was cleaning my counter top. I forgot about them and they started to bud. Now, I will put them in a pot to grow.

11. i put my ginger in a salad cup with water in it ,
    and after 48 houwers  the sprouts started growin ( slowly )

12. I have some ginger in my fridge right now. I just chopped it in half and took another smaller piece and set it in my window step. i hope it sprouts something
13. I know this vid is quite old. but to get the ginger to spread more in the soil, it has to be planted sides ways.
