Porous Alpha is a safe, simple and durable soil improvement agent which can increase the water retention capacity and aeration capacity of soil. It was tested in Morocco where it realised 50% reduction of irrigation water. It means, with Porous Alpha, the farmers can continue produce their products even if the available water resource is reduced by half by drought which will occur more frequently by climate change. In addition, Porous Alpha is a recycled product from waste glasses. Therefore Porous Alpha contributes also for better waste management such as reduction of landfill.
