No Gmo !!!!

We don't need GMOs. We need better farming practices and more plant diversity. GMOs are the equivalent of giving medicine to people who actually only need to do some exercise and lay off the junk food. Sloppy tinkering.
-
The reason they turned to GMO was the fact the virus would shut down most the production and it would take to long to select a resistant plant.

i am starting to grow my first papaya trees organically, i am using seaweed , rabbit manure and organic fertilizer .my land was an old sugar cane farm, can i plant cafe, bananas , plantains in the same area ? i live on the sub tropical part in Puerto Rico,

I've got a papaya plant that has had fruit on it for what seems to be forever. How long should it take to ripen the fruit? The plants you showed had every small fruit but you said you would have fruit in about 4 weeks. Should they take 4 weeks to ripen?

the thing with GMO's is that we've been doing it since the beginning of farming. selective breeding is technically a GMO method. theres no difference between doing it in a lab or by doing it on a farm
-
just a thought if they wanna do their gmo why cant they make it sterile? then wed have no papaya like problems

I glad you found a winner. Papayas are fantastic super fruits. Thanks Dave for bringing Hawaii to our attention. Take Care. Regards Patrick

Excellent video. I would love to grow papaya here but not sure how well it would do in Texas. Always up to try though. :) I have been trying to get avocado to grow for years now. :D I had success with white mulberry - only one but the birds have helped me get more since I shared berries with them. :) Also soon planning to try planting carob. :)

I'm with you on that one Nipper "No GMO", but I suspect it will go world wide cause pollen floats on the wind for miles.

Hope you are doing well over there and the creator keeps you well. love your videos and intellect.

Wish we could grow them here. I was at the Stuttgart zoo last month and was wishing I could set up a huge greenhouse like they have growing tropical plants. First I've heard of GMO papayas. Nothing is sacred anymore.

Totally agree with everything you say about GMO, they just want to own our souls.
That being said, I hope that every day you stop for a moment and think damn Im lucky. Cos you are. And Im so Jealous.
Kudos to you, and thanks
