In order to survive the impact of severe flooding, farming communities engage in different types of income generation activities, including rearing livestock. With floods frequently covering potential fields, there is limited opportunity to grow grass to feed animals. Napier grass grows quickly, and is drought-resistant. This video shows technique for cultivating napier grass, and the impact on poor communities in Bangladesh.
