We should also do something like this in India. We should send representatives of our farmers to Israel and learn from them.

HOW CAN YOU TILL YOUR SOILS WHEN YOU ARE IN SUCH NEED OF WATER, IT SO STUPID. YOU SHOULDN'T FARM LIKE WE DO IT IN AREAS WITH 800MM OF PRECIPITATION FFS. YOU ARE DESTROYING YOUR FUNDAMENT, FOCUS ON CARBON IN THE SOIL

Sooner or later, you are going to leave my land in my beloved Palestine.
Thank you for looking after my farms.

That was delightful and typical of the amazing Israeli ingenuity.

The desert will bloom! Isaiah 35:1.

I wonder if "my" kibbutz will be involved with this? Nir-Am is literally on the border with Gaza
-
If people could drop the animosity and turn military spendings into regreening the desert, everybody would be happy.
-
The ppl of Gaza and the PA do small-scale agriculture nowadays - but they are like 50 years in delay. Which is a pity, since Israel did contibute them the technology (nobody told them to burn down the greenhouses in 2005, it was their own doing).

For anyone interested to catch a glimpse of how was "Palestine" like (it wasn't a state, just a geographic region which included the territory of Jordan, Lebanon and Syria besides modern Israel, by the way), before the Jews got to make the desert bloom - Well, the old "Palestine" hasn't disappeared, its still there. So simply fire up google earth and see for yourself the Gaza strip and Judea and Samaria (the "west bank").. compare it to the villages in Israel near it. Let me put it this way: You don't really need the border marking on google earth, to see the border.
