I would like to be shown the cultivation process starting from sowing the seed, what the seedlings look like on germination and how to care for them at that stage. The other day I sowed Red Amaranth seeds in my electric propagator and they are up. Should they be kept in that humid environment or taken out of the propagator? Which is the best position for the tiny seedlings, full sunshine or shade? They are too fragile to transplant. I do not want them to be straggly. Greetings from Sweden.

Thank you for taking the time to answer! God bless!

One of the best Malayalam-language videos about amaranthus cultivation I have ever seen :) Seriously, though, it was very interesting even though I didn't understand anything except "Malathion."

Hi, I am Rajesh, Sorry for a late reply. Yes, Malayalam (my mother tong) is a language near Tamil (in fact originated from Tamil language centuries ago as per Historians), spoken in Kerala, a tiny state in south west cost of India. Amaranths is a leaf vegetable widely consumed here like Spinach in the western countries.

Yes you can eat all parts of the plant, including the seed

Oh thank you for caring to answer me! Mlayalam, wow that sounds so beautyful like in a fairy tale ore something with a princess and a love story! Is that your real name "Rjurajendra" and are you from there? Is that near where the Tamils live? Also I grew Amaranth in my garden this year and it looks beautiful with all the red pony tails but can I actually use it for something? Greetings form New Zealand
