I have more or less 40 acres of beautiful rainforest property in the island of palawan ( phillipines) just about 600 meters away form the famous estrella falls ( 64 falls from the top of the mountain ) and about 15 minutes away from the nearest city of narra , palawan . I would like to turn this place into a permaculture or a food forest and help my community learn the permaculture . If you happened to be in the phillipines please feel free to email me at jijimariano@gmail.com. I will be very happy to accomodate you and the rest of the group to stay in my place and help us in this very im,portant undertaking . My USA number 775-742 3928. What is the purpose of the glass leaning against the black 'water heating' tank? I know for a fact that, in very hot places, the tank produces very hot water without anything around it. Does the glass intensify the heating power and or retention of the system? Thanks!

My friends and I are starting a project in Vietnam to spread Permaculture knowledge in Vietnam and we appreciate all your help. -
There is no such thing as Global Warming..... ALL weather anomalies are explained by Geo-Engineering...... go look up that term and KNOW that YOUR weather is being manipulated by twisted minds. Grow up and Wake up !!!

Imao, Permaculture does not lean towards 'profitability', but abundance. To continue to talk about 'profit' after we see what such an attitude has done to the Earth doesn't make sense. Let's speak of abundance, we can live without 'profit'.

The only place where I disagree with many permaculturalists is in the permanency of the enslavement of animals. I am opposed to it, and propose the alternative: veganic polyculture. We should be pulling away from preying on others as an evolving species, despite our very superior technologies to other animals, and build our permacultural systems, food forests, polycultures, grain and pulse swaths, etc based on veganic, truly sustainable and ethical values and practices, not traditional, religiously-held cultural habits which no longer make any sense except to bacon-addicts et al., and which have led to the normalization of the enslavement of some animals, like cows and chickens and turned into uncle tomcats others, like the cat and the dog, both carnivores who play butler and maid in our little dens of torture and killing, eager for the scraps. Small-scale slavery i,e,, 'free-range organic' clothed in wholesome, smiling advertisements of the confident local land-masters' vision of success, is no more ethical or natural than large-scale, computerized and industrialized meat, eggs and dairy. In other words, if your mistress has a beautiful dungeon where she keeps you exclusively, and treats you relatively well until she rapes, kills and eats your flesh, it doesn't make you any less of a flesh slave than the bloke in the sweat-shop who can't leave and works for free, only to end as dog food. If people would only stop blocking their empathy responses out of fear and allow themselves to feel and really imagine what we are doing to these animals, we would proceed on the way towards our evolutionary destiny much faster... Oh well, I am the first to admit that it took me a while to come around to this conclusion, which is: YES VE GAN!
