vue - Talking To 100 Teenagers About VEGANISM (Full Version)

1. Amazing speech - covers everything I would like to say to people when they ask me "Why are you vegan?". I will share this with everyone I know! Thank you so much.
2. His speech is good but the fact that he has taken most of what he says of other speeches isn´t very nice. "101 Reasons to go Vegan" is in my opinion the better speech.
   I am vegan myself and I find every kind of support of veganism and enlightenment good. I just think the other speech is better and more original.

3. 28:49: But do not forget, that OTHER industries, especially metal-, chemicals, oil- and plasic-ones, ALSO have a LOT to do with those dead zones in the oceans, mister!
4. 17:41: Cut away the zombie make-up, that could have been me as a small kid, eating raw seal liver in Greenland!!  ;-D We still eat it raw, and it is considered to be a gift from Nature. In old days, if there was a family dispute, one of the men from one of the families involved, got out in his qajaq, caught a seal, brought it home, had the wife open it up, and havethe feuding folks from both families eat a piece of the liver together as a sign of PEACE between the families! And so, it was settled. :-)
5. I will not make myself holier-than-thou, I still eat fish. But only from sources, that are guaranteed to be done in a sustainable manner. We have to take better care of our oceans. The newest horror: Microplastic has also found its way up to our waters in the North Atlantic. We are a 100 persent responsible for some of it ourselves. We import a lot of plastic shxx, and it ends up on landfills outside our towns... /:-(
6. As a Greenlandic Inuit, I MUST say this: WE have NEVER treated ANY animal like that, and we have been hunting and killing seabirds, seals, whales, fish and wild reindeer for centuries! We KNOW about blood and killing... But never like THIS!!!  This makes me sick.
7. What would Gandhi say, if he saw that? What would JESUS say, if he saw that? This cannot go on forever! We will have to pay a price for that. Our planet is dying, we HAVE to stop our violent nature NOW!!! It permeates SO many things in our lives!
8. I was actually most upset about the little male chicks. It is absolutely horrendous...that in the name of MONEY... Somebody (mostly a man, I guess)... sit down... Think up a machine..a so-called macerator..Equipped with sharp, rotating blades...JUST designed to crush and hack helpless, frightened, little chickens to death....Smart people actually sit and figure that shit OUT!!  How fast must it go, how many blades, how many can it cut to pieces without stopping, BECAUSE IT GETS KINDA MUSHY DURING USE?!!!  It is so SICKENING!!  That is the part, where some of me lost some faith in humanity! We are SO inventive... But DAMN, when we get creative... We are SCARY!! Why are we like that? Oh yes. Because of MONEY... I pray for a day, where money will no longer rule the world!

10. Also we dont eat dogs, because they were bred for protection not for food. Same reason why we dont eat much horse meat, they had and have a diffrent function. You cant use a pig for warfare or transportation. You cant use a cow for protection etc.
11. Funny he says if humans are gone plant and animal life would be better. The reason why cows, pigs and chickens exist today are becasue of humans. WIthout us they would go extinct, because they were bred for our consumption, they arent wild animals anymore. Sure some animals would do better without us, but we also keep many of them alive.

13. Maybe you should talk to 100 teenagers about abortion too, I mean being a vegan is great, but what about the killing of human babies? They rip these little babies out of the womb shredding their bodies and snipping their spinal cords to kill them, after that they are either thrown into the trash bin, or worse their organs are harvested and sold to labs for $$$.

I'm vegetarian but now at this moment, I've decided to go vegan even if I have to argue with my parents everyday, I will do it because I didn't know that the eggs was their period :'( I actually hate milk I never drank so much of it and we don't have it at home so it's okay! I just need to stop eating eggs and I'm vegan ! I'm so happy to have made this decision and saw this video :) Thank you so much it was amazing !!!!
15. many of your arguments are serious bullshit i could take them apart one by one, i dont mind vegans but at least do your homework. seriously, especially the part where you showed the pictures of the rhino etc. just for the record:
    
    It boils down to the anatomy.
    Herbivores are very good at digesting plant matter, which us monogastrics are not particularly good at. Many herbivores (such as ruminants) have large, highly developed gastrointestinal tracts containing symbiotic bacteria to allow them to digest plant matter. Once the cellulose in the plant cell walls is digested, the animal can then access the nutrients contained in the plant matter to a degree we cannot. Ruminants (such as cows) are even better able to absorb nutrients in this way than monograstric herbivores (such as horses). Rumen microbes are also an important source in ruminants for production of amino acids.
    
    There's also a reason why the GI tract of these herbivores is so big. In the cow, it's an enormous rumen. In the horse, it's a massive colon for hindgut fermentation. To get all the nutrients they need - such as amino acids - these herbivores have to consume and ferment vast quantities of plant matter. A carnivore can generally get all the nutrients it needs in a much smaller meat meal, meaning it does not need such an extensive GI tract.

18. I'm vegetarian and I am a kid.
    Kids need dairy, I know there are substitutes however veganism is scientifically proven to be unhealthy for under 25's I would bet you a lot of money those people are under 25.
    My point being vegetarian kids could watch this video and maybe become vegan and maybe their parents don't realise how unhealthy it is for them.
    To improve this video put a warning at the start of the video that says; veganism is highly unhealthy for under 25's we do not recommend any kids or young adults to become vegan.
