great video. regarding legumes and n-fixation, it is not the root system of the legumes, but bacteria attached to the roots (rhizobia) that fixes atmospheric nitrogen. plant as cover crop where you want to naturally fertilize and cut down your legumes (white clover, ex). what happens is the rhizobia on the attached root system dies with the root and then nitrogen is released...then secondary, you can use plant material as green manure but you are missing out on a lot of good N if your legume roots are not in the root zone of your main crops :]

@0:10 The film claims that 34% of oil consumption related to food systems is associated with the "manufacture of inorganic fertilizer." I think the film-makers might have confused methane and oil. We make fertilizer from the former, not the latter.

Great attitude, man! And I had to laugh when the chicken went in the pan for eating your vegetables! :-)

He said, leave the nature alone and then, he killed that poor helpless chicken. What a teaching! PRAJAPITA BRAHMA KUMARIS WORLD SPIRITUAL UNIVERSITY brahmakumaris.org
