You should try and find the yellow dragon fruit that usually has spikes around the actual fruit (If you haven't already). That one ought to be much much sweeter than the other 3 in the video!

Eating the dragon fruit right before the flesh turns translucent I find is best. Once it's gone more clear looking, it's a little mushy in my taste.
