just bought a hictop 3D printer. off of Amazon.
Bearings Shot right out of the box.
I thought it was awesome that it got here in a week. But they're gonna make me wait 6 to 8 weeks for the bearings I need.
So I have a pile useless 3d printer. -
The Tiko actually sucks, you lied

Coucou l'etlv !!

Take a look at 1:07 where they are "printing" a model that was already finished, and just put there for demonstration. They contradict their own statements too by launching a piece of shit that's called Tiko. I have a printer made out of lasercut wood and chinese electronics for under 200 bucks that does a better job, actually a really good one.

Wow way cool now we can have a 3d printer make a fully electrical model kits be it cars or dolls the sky is the limit......hay doesn't this also mean that robotics are going to become way more advanced?

someone asked is it worth it?? are 3d printing materials biodegradable, earth friendly, environmentally friendly and safe for people during use and production of items made by the 3d printing? I read at the University California Irvine facebook that student(s) are having to build something extra to help with the fume created during 3d printing. The fumes can be very bad for health as we inhale and surround ourselves in the fume during production and into the environment...air and so on...which then rains into the land, wildlife, river, and ocean contributing to global warming and destruction of the planet just to have accumulation of stuff...for joy and happiness of people. it could be like second hand smoking...what about other people in the planet and other animals and fish and the entire earth?? why should we all suffer needlessly for the joy of those who print excessively just to have stuff??

It's sure that you will have to redesign or rebuild the 3d printer you've bought for year.

Tiko is heading for a delay of some 12-months behind their stated Kickstarter schedule. The eta for initial deliveries was Nov 2015. After many delays they shipped a small batch of 200x to some of the KS backers a few months ago.
Unfortunately, the recipients reported numerous issues with the printer, which Tiko3D have been seeking to resolve. In the meantime, >16,200 backers (most who gave $179 + $55 shipping and handling) have been waiting for Tiko to produce and deliver the printer they promoted and announced to the world a year and a half ago.
It should be noted that Tiko3D charged the $55 for shipping back in February - and have only this week said it may be another 3-months before they consider going into manufacture.
So, anyone viewing this video and finding themselves with an interest in the Tiko printer should really look at other options at this stage. There are many established 3D printers on the market available now and with proven track records - unlike Tiko.
