You've never "done" mushrooms? You're missing out on one of life's great experiences. Don't believe anything the government tells you. P.S. I'm not sure I believe you either. :-)

why no update on this kind?

Beautiful video! Is everyone aware of the wonderful news concerning the oyster mushroom? Aside from being delicious, it has been used to clean up oil-contaminated earth! The mycelia go to work, secreting enzymes that chemically break down a host of toxic substances! Hydrocarbons become harmless carbohydrates! Take a look at lectures by scientist Paul Stamets. do you grow shrooms?

How much protein doe the mushrooms have? When you grow it on the log does it keep growing after you trim off the mushrooms or do you just get one growing cycle out of it?

Good Luck! I just finished growing a crop of oyster mushrooms from the Back to the Roots kit. It was really fun and easy. The coolest thing about it was that the mushrooms grew out of used coffee grounds. Creating food from waste! I love that your kit has a sponge bottom and a humidity dome. Can't wait to see your update!
