1. Great things are happening at UAS Raichur ! I have been visiting the campus and introduced some eminent and unusual personalities like the Peethadipathi of AP Kudli Sringeri Mutt few months ago. The Swamiji, along with some well placed persons from Raichur itself found very interesting Research & Development Technology related to Agricultural and Rural requirements of four Districts. I wish CSIR, ICAR-New Delhi and the States of Karnataka and others take initiative to spread the awareness among Self-help groups of Women of Rural areas, as well as Farmers co operatives of all Thaluks & Districts about the felicities available and farmer friendly technology available at the Institute. General public awareness also need to be increased through the Print & Electronic media.
