Many farmers who doesn't own land can also cultivate vegetables in poly bags for household consumption and also surplus can be sold in the market. A poly bag of 50kg to 100kg capacity is taken and filled with a composition of FYM, compost and vermi compost. Two 6" square holes are made in opposite direction on the poly sac. Two holes are made in the soil mixture with 2 vegetables seeds of cucurbitaceae family are sown in each hole. In this method of cultivation water requirement is also very less and without much labour, a small family can grow vegetable for own use.
