vue - Video: We test John Deere's four-track 9RX tractor
Rarely has there been so much preamble and orchestrated PR faff for the debut of an agricultural machine as there has been for the launch of John Deere’s four-track 9RX tractor. For the past year, leaked pictures, teasers and chance sightings have been floating around the internet and across the farming press. But finally the flagship of the range – the 620hp 9620 RX – has landed on UK shores and we've put it through its paces. Watch the video below and read the full report on Farmers Weekly http://www.fwi.co.uk/machinery/john-deere-four-track-9rx-tractor-tested.htm

I love reading the comments from the kool-aide drinking Deere crowd. Its hilarious how you drone on about a company that's main technical advancements are steeling technology from other companies. A company thats resale value solely depends on Deere credit , to propagate the myth of value upon trade. You do know that Deere isn't giving you any discount for cheer leading for them, and has so much contempt for their customer they argued to the US supreme court, that you Dont own "their" tractor

great thurlow estate in Cambridgeshire have ran 3 quad 550s for the past five years and are now converting to 3 620 John Deeres after demonstrating one this summer. hired a caterpillar last year and it blew the engine after a hundred hours and also the transmission.

Love to drive one it looks like a perfect tractor for my 8ft maschio finish mower. Like to have seen a bigger disc behind it like a landoll 36.

it's not going to matter much anymore in the reliability area, with the new emission bull shit the government's are putting on them cat-cummins-john deer are all going to be garbage until you can delete it to make them run like they are supposed to.

This tractor looks amazing JD did a great job designing it. I am going to have to stick with my red but don't try and give me one, I would take it.

Wayne, I've been on everything made. I've drive since the 70's. I can honestly say that John Deere makes better stuff. When you spend all day on a John Deere you don't feel as bad; they are just more refined. I have loved other things about certain tractors, but they just aren't as comfortable to be in. John Deere always takes care of the little things, and it adds up to make a better machine.

Deere uses 10-15% more fuel in the Nebraska official tests. Even with the Tier4 engines that use DEF fluid! So the cummins has EGR- that kills engine life and economy. they have a DPF that takes fuel to burn out the PM emissions and shuts the tractor down if it doesn't work. Now they added SCR/DEF fluid. So they have 3 very complex systems to meet Tier4 final emissions. Case has 1! SCR only that they have been using for 8 years already. Stop smelling the green paint fums and wake up.
The 620 deeres I have tested couldn't pull what the case does. The tracks aren't as efficient or something. Waiting for a side by side test. I have never been in a case quad trac that road bad. -
The Deeres are better made and much more comfortable.

620 HP Pulling a little toy disc cultivator.hook it up to a 20 ton 26 foot offset disc with 38 inch disc like we use here in australia and see how it goes,, which we pull with a MT865 CAT Challenger which pulls the big offset disc with the depth wheels off the ground at 12 klmtrs per hour.

John Deere had to put a 15 ltre cummins in it because they cant make good motors them selves there shit twin turbo motors keep blowing turboes
-
yes but case is the first ones to come out with a quad track and John deere took the idea. So case is still number one.
-
That cultivater is nothing compared what it can pull
-
