I really enjoyed this! It was entertaining, clear, and everything that was said tied into one another, without getting overly complicated and confusing.

I think that livestock farming/herding was sustainable and some cultures like the mongol horse people and sub saharan cattle warriors still so this today. it's when they decided to plant crops and farm animals at once that was when it got tricky.
Herding meant you could keep moving around the land (to find water, avoid predators and find the right kind of grazing for the herds). Crops can't be moved, so you have to stop and build a more permanent shelter. if you have animals and want to plant crops as well, then you have to make more land for you herds to graze and now the haymaking business is need to provide the different herbs, plants and minerals for the animals. -

Correction: Lactose tolerance is not due to a random mutation in one single person that spreads over many generations. Instead, lactose tolerance can happen in any individual if that individual doesn't stop drinking milk. If a gene is needed it is not turned off. This is why hundreds of thousands of Chinese are drinking milk in order to keep the gene that codes for lactose break down active.
