Mr.Jayakrishnan is a farmer in Anthiyur village of Erode district of TamilNadu ,India has designed a stand alone machine for Watermelon cultivation Using Plastic Mulches and Drip Irrigation simultaneously. Its very expensive if its done by man power. This machine reduces the cost of labor by 70% for farmers and it will save time. (man power consumes lots of time to setup the Plastic Mulches and Drip Irrigation). This work can be done with in 2 hours for an acre whereas man power takes minumum 2 days for an acre. Mr.Jayakrishnan has simulated a machine which will automatically spread the Plastic Mulches and Drip Irrigation pipes.
