I just bought a TM1200, and the short drive shaft that hooks to the tractor's PTO broke after an hour of use. Yes, I was using it the way my dealer told me to. Also, my 95hp 4020 is completely overwhelmed by it.
Long and short of it, I doubt a 4240 could really handle a 1400.
