vue - Why japan is leading economy in Asia small scale agriculture

Japan has been leading economy in Asia and rather in the whole world..Main Feature of Japanese economy are Education, industry and agriculture specially small scale agriculture. Small farmers can not afford high cost machinery and it is also not there use , But how Japan invented very low cost machinery for those that also increase there working capacity as well decreasing working time and cost .. China also followed that model and ruling world economy.
