Larry, aren't African Nightcrawlers sensitive to temperature? Would a person need to keep some kind of a heating pad under the bucket during the winter in colder locations?

Larry? you seem to feed your worms, worm chow and I want to use my worms for food scraps to make into compost. I have been watching your videos but I have not seen you talk about this type of composting. Would these worms work well in this type of situation? Also, I want to add a drain in the bottom to get worm juice that I keep hearing about. Do all worms produce this?

Hi Larry,
Thanks for the wonderful information about the worms in the bucket. I now have the info to give it a try. -
Hey Larry, Great video. I am making a bucket for worms and was wondering if I use a piece of frost protection cloth, the white stuff with the tiny holes in it, and fasten it with a bungee cord real tight on top of the bucket; if that would work. It should keep them in and give them plenty of oxygen. Do you think that would work and would keep the worms in ? I think that would be easier fo rme to get in and out. I find it hard to open and close the bucket lids.
