XTill is a soil friendly, strip soil cultivation process used in the Strip Till procedure -- with or without liquid manure underfoot fertilization. Our XTill B (basic) and XTill S (slurry, with simultaneous liquid manure underfoot fertilization) machines create the optimal conditions for cultivating row crop soil using the Strip Till procedure. The XTill process produces optimal root zone by loosening the soil in strips -- without a plow and without first removing the plant remains from break crops or straw from a previous crop. The Strip Till procedure was developed in North America after droughts resulted in severe crop failures. It has been successfully used worldwide for over 50 years -- especially in regions with sensitive water balances, including many areas in Germany. The Strip Till procedure has been successfully tested by numerous research institutes such as the LFL (Bavarian State Research Center for Agriculture) and the University of Hohenheim.
